Get to know us

We started as an in-home preschool, after having dedicated 15 years teaching and directing at preschools here in Pinellas County. We loved our experiences, but had a vision of our own we wanted to develop. After 3 years of developing our concept into an elevated learning and nurturing environment, integrating our passion for natural science and the arts, in 2020, we launched our first commercial preschool, and Sweet Peas Preschool was born! Our vision was validated not only by the six families from our original home preschool but by an overwhelming response from the local community, who loved the gardening, composting, recycling, chicken coop, classroom pets, and outdoor classroom approach to learning.

Curriculum

We use a creative, hands-on curriculum that engages children in meaningful learning experiences throughout each day. We provide individualized experiences that are as nurturing, intentional, and responsive for infants as they are for preschool-aged children.

Safe & Secure

Sweet Peas Preschool has a security system throughout the school. With a Biometric fingerprint ID system, cameras, automated locks, and keypad entry, you can feel confident that Sweet Peas Preschool is a safe and secure home away from home.

Training & Technology

We emphasize and support on-going teacher training and next-level certifications. Low teacher turnover, means your child benefits from consistency. Researching new technology is a priority. and it is implemented in the classroom to aid in child development.
